The Plant Nappy is a better alternative to the use of drip trays under plant and machinery on site. It is designed for use outside in the rain and harsh conditions to provide containment of oil and fuel spills for generators and other site machinery while overcoming the problem of filling with water. The design allows drips of oil or fuel to be caught in the base and rainfall to escape through the side walls as pure, clean water. The Plant Nappy is protected by a non-permeable base, and the top cover is made from PVC coated polyester mesh, allowing free passage of contaminants. They are both also abrasion resistant, oil and chemical resistant, UV resistant and is fire retardant. The base and top cover both have a high tensile strength, a temperature resistance of -20°C to 107°C and a melting point of 157°C. The side wall is constructed of permeable foam that allows free passage of water but not oil; it is also UV resistant and fire retardant.
